Neo Queen Serenity

Chibiusa near worships her mother as the very essence of what it means to be a lady able to protect everyone with her strength, which for quite some time is Chibiusa's burning obsession that she doesn't seem to be able to touch. Mama is graceful, wise, beautiful, courageous, and loving, and Chibiusa has a hard time seeing herself as any of these things to the point where for a while she wonders if she is even Serenity's child.

But slowly Chibiusa comes to realize that she's growing into the role that she's always dreamed of, although she still can't think of herself and her mother on equal footing, somehow it makes it a little easier, as does the knowledge that Serenity loves her from afar, up on that ivory seat.
